COIMBATORE: Pothys plans to open a showroom in Thiruvananthapuram shortly, according to its Managing Director S. Ramesh.
Mr. Ramesh told The Hindu here on Wednesday that with presence in Srivilliputhur, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Chennai and now Coimbatore (opened on Wednesday), Pothys would open a showroom in Thiruvananthapuram next. In Coimbatore, it targeted customers from Coimbatore, Erode, Tirupur, Karur and the Nilgiris District. Customers were expected from about 150 km radius around Coimbatore.
The showroom here had its strengths in terms of customer service, price and variety. Nearly 80 per cent of sales came from the mid-income segment. It had its own brand in silk – Samudrika, Parampara and Vastrakala
